Short reminder of the French bio-fuel legislation in the agricultural ground.
You are many to question us about the legislation and about what is allowed to do nowadays. Therefore, we decided to inform you and to remind you that nowadays :
  • The fabrication and the use of pure vegetal oil as fuel are allowed within the framework of farming from which the seeds come from (cf. communiqué de presse du ministère de l'agriculture du 21/11/2005)
  • Fields lying fallow can be valorised by a farming dedicated to bio-fuel. Moreover, subventions which can reach 45€ by hectare farmed can be given by the government.
